Comic Neue and Web Fonts
I'm a huge fan of the classic font Comic Sans MS and pleased to know that in modern versions of Windows it comes with an even fancier version of it.
Unfortunately it means that the version going around with Core font for the Web is the older one and you'll be missing out, so I'm reluctant to use any of the fancier features In the Wild online.
More importantly, the proprietary nature of the font makes me feel like I shouldn't use it as the primary font for my web zone. There's a pretty decent open font that's close enough (they argue it's improved but I don't necessarily agree) in Comic Neue so that's the Official font of this web site, you can download it for free wherever you like. If you like it more than Comic Sans MS there's even a browser extension to replace usage of Comic Sans MS with Comic Neue.
But one thing I'm not a fan of online is when sites embed font files in them for your browser to download. It tends to be slow and font files just seem silly to send over the wire to anyone browsing a site. So I encourage you to download and install the font yourself, if you want to use the Official font.
But if not, it's fine, things will fall back to whatever your system fonts have set for sites. I think its nice to make font options easy for people.
